Shuttle Bus Driver

Description:

ASO is looking for a Shuttle Bus Driver to work in Ft. Cavazos, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Drives minibus or van to transport clients, trainees, or company personnel; drives vehicle from individual or central loading area to social services or rehabilitation center, training location, job site, or other destination according to assigned schedule.
  • May assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle, secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
  • May operate radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service, clean and/or service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
  • Keeps records of trips and/or behavior of passengers, and perform other duties when not driving such as, custodial and building maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years driving experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
  • High School Diploma/ Equivalent.
  • Ability to receive a favorable TIER 1 investigation.

Desired Qualifications:
  • U.S. Army 88M series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
  • Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.

Pay & Benefits:
  • Hourly Pay Rate : $17.20.
