How you will change lives

As a Transcriptionist at Kidney and Blood Pressure Clinic, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working with healthcare providers to facilitate quality care for patients living with kidney disease.

What you will be doing

You will work with the doctor and his office staff, and transcribing visits with patients as they occur. Medical Terminology is needed in this position. You will travel up to 3 hours to perform rural clinic visits in Texas and New Mexico. On these days hours will be long, but not overnight, and will require overtime as needed.

• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Basic computer literacy and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• 6 months relative experience in health care and medical terminology preferred.
• Adobe Forms Software preferred.
• Have full range of body motion and flexibility.
• Able to climb, reach, kneel, stoop, and bend daily.
• Able to sit for long periods of time.

• University/college degree is an asset
