Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to deliver exceptional patient care and customer-focused service across various locations. The primary responsibilities include performing venipuncture on patients, collecting and preparing specimens, and ensuring proper specimen processing and transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel between worksites to provide patient care and customer service.
- Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
- Collect and prepare non-blood specimens.
- Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
- Facilitate transport of reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens.
- Ensure proper specimen handling and motor vehicle operation.
- Interact with clients and commit to customer-focused service.
- Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
- Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
