Security Officer Lubbock

Providence invites applicants to join our Covenant Medical Center team in Lubbock, Texas. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding patients, staff, and visitors while ensuring a safe and secure campus environment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas of the CHS campus to deter, detect, and investigate crime or suspicious activity.
• Provide information, assistance, and prompt responses to patients, employees, and visitors.
• Write detailed incident reports and other required documentation.
• Maintain control of disruptive individuals and coordinate arrests with the Lubbock Police Department when necessary.
• Carry Department?issued handcuffs and a non?lethal device at all times while on duty.
• Adhere to flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays based on departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Within 30 days of hire: Texas Non?Commissioned Security Officer certification from the Texas Private Security Board, Texas Department of Public Safety.
• Valid drivers license and proof of auto insurance (driving may be required).
• Minimum 1 year of Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or Police experience, preferably within a hospital or campus setting.

Work Status: Full Time Day & Evening shifts available.

Pay Range: $16.14 $24.69 per hour.
