Cornerstone Audiology is a locally owned hearing healthcare practice in Lubbock, Texas, known for delivering exceptional audiology services and an outstanding patient experience. The practice is deeply committed to improving the lives of individuals with hearing loss and building strong relationships throughout the West Texas community.

Cornerstone Audiology is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to serve as the primary point of contact for patients. This role is phone- and communication-focused and plays a critical part in creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience from the first call through ongoing care. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, managing a high volume of incoming calls, and ensuring patients feel informed, cared for, and confident in their next steps.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming patient phone calls and inquiries
  • Schedule appointments, consultations, and follow-up visits while optimizing the clinic's calendar
  • Greet patients and support a welcoming, professional front office environment
  • Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointments, paperwork, and next steps
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records within the practice management system
  • Collect and process patient payments accurately and securely
  • Prepare and manage forms, documentation, and correspondence
  • Coordinate with audiologists and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Assist with general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and supply coordination
  • Represent the practice through community outreach by visiting physician offices and local organizations
  • Build rapport quickly and professionally to support referral relationships and community partnerships
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service, call-handling, or administrative role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using computer systems, electronic medical records, and office software
  • Professional, friendly demeanor with confidence interacting with patients and community partners
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented healthcare environment
  • Bilingual skills are a strong plus
